Hi Folks, Anirudh here!

This will be the longest one—I promise! The future editions will be shorter.

What was the need for this "personal newsletter"?

Considering how much of my college life is already out there for everyone to see (you know what I mean 😉), I've been thinking: starting my newsletter might help me procrastinate less and stay on track.

Hey there! I'm Anirudh Panda, and this is my newsletter where I spill the beans on my life and work adventures. Join me for a chat about life, my latest projects, and some creative ideas I can't wait to share!

Basically, I am going to rant about my life here.

Month in Review

Personal Highlights:

November was incredible! I finally traveled with my parents after waiting for months. I sponsored their flight, and the emotions were indescribable. It's just the beginning of giving back to them, and it means the world to me.

I had quite mixed expectations about Bangalore because of all the jokes about the city being overhyped. To be honest, my first impression didn't help either—the travel from the airport to Varthur (50 km), was a bit of a shock!

Places I visited (ate at) in Bangalore and also where I met my college friends <3:

I went to BLR for a workation at Coorg (Scotland of India), all thanks to the startup I work for—Inagiffy!

Coorg was absolutely stunning with an AQI below 30, giving us fresh, clean air. We booked an Airbnb villa for seven of us right in the middle of the forest, surrounded by beautiful coffee plantations and not so scary pond.

Things I did at Coorg:

  1. Worked with a shitty BSNL internet

  2. Drank lots and lots of Coorg special coffee

  3. Saw elephants at Dubare camp

  4. Visited Coorg plantation (orgasm for students who love Botany)

  5. Bought back Coffee, Cups, Pickles and more

  6. Ate Dominos twice xD

  7. Explored villa's jungle at 3 AM

  8. Had fun with my coworkers :)

I stayed in Coorg for 5 days and extended my stay in BLR for an additional 3 days, specifically for Diwali celebrations. I enjoyed Diwali with family at my aunt's house in BLR—it was a fun time!

Professional Highlights:

I'm in my 3rd month at Inagiffy, and I feel like I'm getting the hang of my job here, which I'm really enjoying. From writing pieces to engaging with clients, I feel involved and good about it.

I never imagined I'd end up in a place like this, but I never say no to an opportunity (to make money).

In the last two weeks, I learnt:

  1. How to write better prompts

  2. Writing clickbaity subject lines

  3. Curating fresh content according to clients

  4. Being better at research

Each day, I try to be a better writer researcher and a mid writer.

Muscles in the Making

Guess what? Your boy's been hitting the gym for 4 months now and has gained over 10 kg of weight and a few muscles too!

I missed hitting the gym during my time at BLR. Yesterday, after a two-week break, I finally went back, and oh boy, my chest was feeling the burn as if it's Day 1 all over again!

Traveling messed up my calorie intake, but I'm getting back to being consistent now.

Stats:

  1. Body Weight: 69 Kg

  2. Height: 180.34 cm

  3. BMI: 21.2 kg/m2

Planning to bulk up during the winter and aiming to pack on an extra 3kg by year-end, along with gaining more muscle. I might share my bulking diet sometime later!

A Peek into What's Brewing

  1. This month, we released a brand new StudyTub V2, featuring a sleek UI and a user-friendly UX.

  2. I'm making my “personal” website with all the stuff I love, and I'm making it even funnier. Sneak peek in the next newsletter.

  3. I'm setting up Substack for my personal newsletter and planning to write more stuff on Hashnode too!
