how my impromptu trip for Mumbai took place...

Reading Time: 3 minutes

Apologies for messing the flow of the newsletter. It was supposed to be out on 29th Jan but guess what?

I WAS IN BOMBAYYYY

But why?

I was scrolling through my Instagram one day, and I came across a post from CRED announcing a giveaway.

What was they giving away?

They were giving away 4 passes for both days of Lollapalooza India 2024.

I joined the giveaway and fortunately won. Now, I have four free passes to India's Biggest Music Festival in Mumbai, but I was in Bangalore.

I reached out to my friends seeking advice on whether I should act on my intrusive thoughts. Despite their input, my intrusive thoughts won, and I ended up booking round-trip flights to and from Mumbai. (expensive tickets aaaaaa!!)

My Mumbai Experience

So, I stayed in this cool backpackers' place with folks from all over.

Mumbai was crazy hot, and the traffic, oh boy, don't even get me started. But you know what? After 4 in the evening, Mumbai's got a different vibe – I kinda started loving it then.

Checked out some famous spots like Leopold Cafe, the grand Taj, and Marine Drive. Even took a ferry to Alibaug – that was a fun ride!

And let's talk about the nightlife – β€œkuch toh hai iss seher me”

I couldn't miss Mannat, being a huge SRK fan. Seeing it in person was like a dream come true.

My Lolla Experience

So, this was my first time at an international concert, and man, it was amazing!

The performances by Jonas Brothers and One Republic were just mind-blowing. I danced my heart out, seriously.

The EDM by Meduza towards the end gave me chills – it was so good. Overall, a crazy good experience that I'll remember for a long time.

What am i upto?

  1. Took some big decisions for my career (yet again) but for good

  2. Planning to dive deeper into tech learning alongside my job.

  3. Learning finances and all those adulting stuff yk

  4. Book reading is on, but need to catch up while balancing LinkedIn content creation.

  5. Feeling a bit low this week, but determined to bounce back in the coming days.

  6. Gymming had to take a pause due to less sleep and more travel. Time to prioritize self-care and get back on track.

What I want to change?

  1. My sleeping habits

  2. Maintaining a priority list is a necessity for me now

  3. Finding myself unnecessarily worrying about things beyond my control. Gotta work on letting go and focusing on what I can manage.

  4. Creating short term and long term goals

  5. I WANNA TRAVEL MOREEE

I missed the scheduled calls last week due to my impromptu travel to Mumbai. If you want to chit-chat, click here.
